October 13-14, 2025: Turkey's first aid convoy following the latest ceasefire arrived in Gaza. The shipment, consisting of 17 trucks of food and 3 trucks of blankets and tents, was coordinated by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and the Turkish Red Crescent.
October 16, 2025: Turkey appointed Mehmet Güllüoğlu, the former head of AFAD, as the new coordinator for humanitarian aid to Palestinians, in a sign of its increasing role following the recent ceasefire.
October 16–17, 2025: Turkey sent 81 disaster relief experts from AFAD to the Gaza Strip. The team was dispatched to help recover bodies from the rubble. Their deployment was pending Israeli authorization to enter Gaza.
