My theory that Mystery Babylon is Pergamos Turkey.
1. Wilderness does not mean desert in Hebrew as Joel Richardson states as his main premise for Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is denoted not a barren desert but a district or region suitable for pasturing sheep or cattle; an uncultivated place. I do agree with Joel Richardson on many of his ideas, but not in this subject.
2. Mecca Saudi Arabia, Rome, NY - USA, Iraq – Old Babylon or even Jerusalem are not a part of the 10 Muslim horns as stated in Ezekiel 38-39, that the whore sits on. Pergamos, Turkey is. Only Iraq – Old Babylon would be of the 7 Kingdoms. Old Babylon is not Mystery Babylon. This would be like referring to Gog as Antichrist. Gog is buried in Hamon-Gog and Antichrist only perishes in the Lake of Fire. They are not the same and they are named differently for a reason.
3. The Whore of the World, “Satan’s Bride or Mystery Babylon” will be destroyed on the 5th bowl event in Revelation 16:10.
4. Isaiah 21 is about the wrath of God destroying the Seat of Satan on the 5th Bowl during the bowl phase or God’s wrath. Rapture of both the dead and living occurs on the 7th Trumpet, so the Elect/Saints/Martyrs will not be here for this.
5. John writes to the church of Pergamos. Jesus says the Seat of Satan is here at Pergamos (Revelation 2:12).
God tells us that he has a special judgment for Pergamos, Turkey - the 5th Bowl.
Revelation 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Why would God have a specific judgment for this place if is does not matter. God will allow Satan to exalt his bride (Pergamos, Turkey) to the whole world and all commerce will go through here as the world gathers to exalt Antichrist.
I believe that an extremely important statement is made to the church of Per'gamum. The angel of Jesus tells us that this place is the Seat of Satan or Satan's bride and Satan's place of power.
Rev. 2:12 “And to the angel of the church in Per′gamum write: ‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword. 13 “‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; you hold fast my name and you did not deny my faith even in the days of An′tipas* my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice immorality. 15 So you also have some who hold the teaching of the Nicola′itans. 16 Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone which no one knows except him who receives it.’
*"An'tipas my witness" - meaning
(like the father ), martyr at Pergamos, ( Revelation 2:13 ) and according to tradition the bishop of that place. (A.D. before 100.) This statement then redirects us to Rev. 17:6 and 18:24 that this city contains the blood of the saints and prophets in it.
6. Satan and all nations (heathen left after the rapture) will lash out at the Whore as they are being judged by God during the bowl phase and the destruction of Mystery Babylon on the 5th bowl during God’s wrath.
7. Pergamos is only 26 km from the Aegean Sea. Michael throws a boulder into the sea and destroys it. There are many island communities around the Aegean Sea that will be affected and see this happen. Mecca, Saudi Arabia is around 80 km to the Red Sea and Jeddah which is the closest port on the Red Sea.
8. Pergamos will be the new hub of the world. Satan’s seat will whore out his bride to the nations. In contrast, God’s bride is New Jerusalem and will be placed down after the 7th Bowl and God’s wrath is finished, and the world has been cleansed.
9. It tells us in Revelation 18:23 that the bridegroom and the bride shall be heard of no more. 5th and 6th Bowl event.
10. Pergamos was freed by Alexander the Great from the Persians (Iran) around 362 BC.
11. Pergamos was under Roman control after Attalus III died without an heir in 133 BC. Many of the Saints and Prophets died here as martyrs during Roman control and in the past.
12. The Judgement of Mystery Babylon is the 1st thing mentioned in Revelation 17 and is the 5th bowl event in Revelation 16:10.
13. Revelation 14:8 states that she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath (5th Bowl) of her fornication."
14. Pergamos Turkey, as well as the Temple Mount, will be rebuilt after the 6th Seal event. This will happen between the 6th Trumpet when Antichrist appears, and Abomination which is at the 3 ½ year mark just prior to Great Tribulation.
Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast (Pergamos, Turkey); and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
Revelation 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. (5th Bowl)

Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen (Isaiah 21:9 & Revelation 14:8), and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Revelation 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
Revelation 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour (15 days) is thy judgment come (5th Bowl). (Isaiah 21:9 & Revelation 18:2)

Gog is Erdogan of Turkey.
Gog is the White Horseman or 1st Seal of Revelation.
Gog is the New Ottoman Emperor.
Gog will die and be buried in Hamon-Gog.
4 regions-kingdoms form from the 10-nation destruction.
Antichrist overthrows 3 of these regions-kingdoms.
The diversified Beast Kingdom arises from the footprint of all 4 prior regions-kingdoms.

• IS THIS A RESURRECTED GOG/ERDOGAN OR IS THIS ANOTHER PERSON FROM TURKEY?
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings (Gog & 10 nation horde), which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (Daniel 7:8).
(Gog will give 10 nations 15 days to attack Israel prior to God killing them on the 6th Seal as stated in Ezekiel 38-39).
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast (Antichrist).
14 These shall make war with the Lamb (Jesus), and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (7th Trumpet - 3rd Woe – Jesus returns).

Joel 2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Satan's bride is Pergamos, Turkey, the seat of Satan.
Mystery Babylon is destroyed on the 5th Bowl (Rev. 16:10-11).
Antichrist & False Prophet are forced into the Lake of Fire on the 6th Bowl, but states it on Rev. 20:10.
Joel 2:16 also states that during the 6th Seal event as Jerusalem is being attacked by the 10-horn Muslim nations of the Ezekiel 38-39 war (Seals 1 through 6) he will release the bride and the bridegroom.
Satan is Groom and Pergamos, Turkey is his Bride. Just as Jerusalem is the Bride of Jesus the Groom.
